This forward-thinking, disciplined reconciliatory approach has also bolstered the country’s conservation reputation; tourism industry continues to go from strength to strength. 10 % of tourism income is spent on uplifting communities &
conservation & expanding the national parks, Volcanoes National Park is being expanded to give more space to once almost extinct mountain gorillas, Communities are supported during relocation process, these are all done with the tourism income. These funds are superbly well managed by the government.
No apparent corruption, crime, government funded education, good sound health care system for all, Rwanda is like a Phoenix built from its ashes, offers a very bright future for its Citizens, is wonderful example of nation building after genocide.
Its Commitment for sustainable and responsible tourism is indeed an example to the world, this is one of the reason’s that Rwanda should be at the top of your list, every penny spent giving a brighter future to someone.
